The Ministry of Energy together with 10 other involved ministries developed a draft of the National Action Plan for Energy and Climate for 2021-2030 that is consistent with the Energy Policy of Poland until 2040 and invites citizens to take part in public consultations.

The document presents objectives as well as policies and actions in five areas, ie. energy security, internal energy market, energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and research, innovation and competitiveness. The document contains also policies and actions enabling achieving intended objectives.

The national plan includes two attachments. The first one, Reference Scenario presents the current situation and forecast in the aforementioned areas taking into account existing policies. The latter, Scenario of the Climate and Energy Policy in the perspective of 2030, focuses on the assessment of impacts resulting from planned policies and measures.

Until 18 October 2019, citizens have a possibility to submit comments to the draft of the National Action Plan for Energy and Climate for 2021-2030 through a form, which together with all important information regarding the document can be found HERE.
